INTERVIEW WITH TOM CAMPBELL OF THE GUACAMOLE FUND ( PART 1)

I can’t say enough about the positive impact that Tom Campbell and the Guacamole Fund have had on social and environmental concerns. From helping co-ordinate huge undertakings like the M.U.S.E. ( Musicians United for Safe Energy) concerts and outdoor events with hundreds of thousands of people to private after concert receptions for 20-50 people with artists like Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Crosby, Stills and Nash and others. Guacamole Fund members have played significant roles in over 1,200 cultural, educational, environmental, social change and service events since 1974.

I first met Tom Campbell in the late 90’s at a benefit concert that David Crosby and his wife Jan were holding in Solvang, CA. His energy and dedication were inspiring. The more I learned about both Tom and the Guacamole Fund the more I was impressed.

This video from the Collection Progression gives some insight into Tom and the organization he leads.
